Getting started
Understand your financial position
How cash, credit, obligations and personal activity fit together.
Cash and credit stay separate
Available cash comes from bank balances and cash on hand in accounts that are not closed. Available credit is borrowing capacity, not cash. Restricted resources such as benefits are tracked separately.
Net position subtracts card balances and loan balances from available cash. Available credit is not added to your net worth.
Read activity in context
Personal income and spending totals use Personal-scoped transactions. Business records remain searchable without inflating Personal totals.
An expense records spending. A card or loan payment is a payment, so it should not be entered again as a new expense. Check each balance's last-updated indicator before relying on your overview.
