Imports & AI
Troubleshoot an import
Fix date, amount, file and extraction problems before saving.
Dates or amounts look wrong
Check the header row and field mapping. Choose the date order and number convention that match your source. For separate debit and credit columns, map each to the correct role. Confirm whether a positive source amount means an expense or income.
If the year or currency is missing, clarify it where supported and verify the result. Do not confirm records with unresolved ambiguity.
A file cannot be read
Check the supported format and size limits. Export formula-containing spreadsheets as values. For screenshots, use a sharper image with the complete row visible. An image renamed with a different extension is not a supported conversion.
AI times out or cannot finish
Split the source into smaller sections or use a clearer screenshot. Incomplete AI output is rejected rather than imported. If you reach the hourly request limit, wait or use standard imports.
For a persistent issue, report the file type, approximate size, error and steps you tried. Use a fictional or redacted example rather than sending unnecessary financial information.
